چکیده
The subject matter of this work concerns the propagation electro-magnetic fields through strongly anisotropic media, in three dimensional setting. We concentrate on asymptotic behavior for solutions Maxwell equations when electric permittivity tensor is anisotropic. derive limit models and prove their well-posedness. appeal to variational framework study speed solutions. that almost all energy concentrates inside cone model.

Inverse Problems for the Anisotropic Maxwell Equations
We prove that the electromagnetic material parameters are uniquely determined by boundary measurements for the time-harmonic Maxwell equations in certain anisotropic settings. We give a uniqueness result in the inverse problem for Maxwell equations on an admissible Riemannian manifold, and a uniqueness result for Maxwell equations in Euclidean space with admissible matrix coefficients. The proo...
متن کاملStrongly Anisotropic Ballistic Magnetoresistance in Compact Three-Dimensional Semiconducting Nanoarchitectures.
We establish theoretically that in nonmagnetic semiconducting bilayer or multilayer thin film systems rolled up into compact quasi-one-dimensional nanoarchitectures, the ballistic magnetoresistance is very anisotropic: conductances depend strongly on the direction of an externally applied magnetic field. This phenomenon originates from the curved open geometry of rolled-up nanotubes, which lead...
متن کاملInverse medium scattering for three-dimensional time harmonic Maxwell equations
A continuation method is developed for solving the inverse medium scattering problem of time harmonic Maxwell equations in R3. By using multifrequency scattering data, our reconstruction algorithm first employs the Born approximation for an initial guess and proceeds via recursive linearization on the wavenumber k. At each linearization step, one forward and one adjoint state of the Maxwell equ...
متن کاملMagnetic Monopoles, Electric Neutrality and the Static Maxwell-dirac Equations
We study the full Maxwell-Dirac equations: Dirac field with minimally coupled electromagnetic field and Maxwell field with Dirac current as source. Our particular interest is the static case in which the Dirac current is purely time-like – the “electron” is at rest in some Lorentz frame. In this case we prove two theorems under rather general assumptions. Firstly, that if the system is also sta...
متن کاملThe Maxwell-Dirac Equations: Monopoles, Electric Neutrality and “Free” Fields
Recent work on the Maxwell-Dirac equations is reviewed. The system we are interested in is the full MaxwellDirac equations: Dirac field with minimally coupled electromagnetic field and Maxwell field with Dirac current as source. Work on the static equations (the Dirac current is purely timelike in some Lorentz frame) is examined and two interesting theorems which apply in this case are discusse...
